  • Call to Order: Welcome and Introductions; Approval of Minutes.
9:00–10:00 a.m.
  • Item 1–CDE Update: CDE staff will discuss recent developments within the SED.
10:00–10:05 a.m.
  • Item 2–Public Comment: General public comment is invited on any matter, including items not on the agenda. Issues raised by the public may be referred to a future meeting agenda. Chair reserves the right to establish time limits on presentations.
10:05–10:20 a.m.
  • Item 3–Handbook Workgroup Update: Handbook Workgroup will provide updates regarding suggestions to CDE.
10:20–10:30 a.m.
  • Break
10:30–10:45 a.m.
  • Item 4–Bridge to the Future Update: Bridge to the Future Workgroup will provide updates regarding the Bridge to the Future.
10:45–11:15 a.m.
  • Item 5–Best Buddies: A representative from Best Buddies will present on its program to secure employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
11:15–11:25 a.m.
  • Break
11:25 a.m.–Noon
  • Item 6–Committee and Region Updates: Committees and Regions discuss concerns and updates.
Noon–12:20 p.m.
  • Item 7–Student Voice: Updates and next steps.
