This document displays the universal tools, designated supports, and accommodations (embedded and non-embedded) allowed as part of the CAASPP system for 2019–20. This document should be used in conjunction with the Smarter Balanced Consortium: Usability, Accessibility, and Accommodations Guidelines External link opens in new window or tab. (PDF), and the California Code of Regulations that regulate the CAASPP system. The appropriate use of embedded and non-embedded universal tools, designated supports, and/or accommodations on CAASPP system tests is restricted to only those identified in this document.
