  • Call to Order–Welcome and Introductions
  • Approval of Minutes
9:30–10 a.m.
  • CDE Update: CDE staff will discuss recent developments within the Special Education Division.
10–11:15 a.m.
  • Workgroup Feedback: Workgroups created in the September 2019 Advisory meeting will report on the Budget Change Proposal, conditions to the Grant Award Notices, and Bylaws.
  • Public Comment: General public comment is invited on any matter, including items not on the agenda. Issues raised by the public may be referred to a future meeting agenda. Chair reserves the right to establish time limits on presentations.

  • Lunch
12:15–12:45 p.m.
  • WorkAbility I Collaborative Institute Updates: WAI Advisory will discuss updates to the Northern and Southern Regional Institutes, as well as potential Northern and Southern Advisory Meetings.
12:45–1:30 p.m.
  • College and Career Indicator (CCI) Feedback: The CDE will present proposed changes to the CCI and discuss feedback and next steps with WAI Advisory.
1:30–1:45 p.m.
  • Break
1:45–2:15 p.m.
  • WAI Student Placement: WAI Advisory will discuss redefining placements in WAI.
2:15–2:30 p.m.
  • Committee Reports: Committees will provide updates.
2:30–3 p.m.
  • Next Workgroup Steps: WAI Advisory members will recommend items to be included on future WAI Advisory agendas.
