  • Item 1–Call to Order: Welcome and Introductions; Mission and Vision; Approval of Minutes.
9:00–10:00 a.m.
  • Item 2–CDE Update: CDE staff will discuss recent developments within the SED, as well as updates to key areas related to the WAI grant.
10:00–10:10 a.m.
  • Item 3–Public Comment: General public comment is invited on any matter, including items not on the agenda. Issues raised by the public may be referred to a future meeting agenda. Chair reserves the right to establish time limits on presentations.
10:10–10:20 a.m.
  • Break
10:20–10:45 a.m.
  • Item 4–Department of Rehabilitation Employer Presentation: Representative from the Department of Rehabilitation will provide information on developing partnerships with national and statewide employers.
10:45–11:35 a.m.
  • Item 5–Annual Program Requirements Report Rubric: WAI Advisory will propose ideas and suggestions to improve the rubric for the Annual Program Requirements Report.
11:35–11:45 a.m.

  • Item 7–State Meeting Workgroup Update: The WAI State Meeting Workgroup will provide information regarding the feasibility of a State or Multi-Region meeting in Spring 2023.

  • Item 8–Request for Application Options: CDE staff will present on the potential work entailed in the Request for Applications process.
2:00–2:20 p.m.
  • Item 9–Committee and Region Updates: Region co-managers and committee chairs share news and updates.
