Assessment Results Communications Toolkit

Informational materials and resources that help access and interpret the statewide assessment results for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC).

CAASPP and ELPAC Overview

The CAASPP and ELPAC are computer-based tests that measure what students know and can do based on the California academic content standards and English language development standards. The CAASPP and ELPAC are taken on a yearly basis, and statewide results are released each fall. These results can be aggregated and disaggregated for the purpose of informing parents/guardians, local educational agencies (LEAs), and the public.
