RDRSSP Basis for Application Approval

Per the action taken by the Panel at the August 23, 2024, meeting of the Reading Difficulties Risk Screener Selection Panel (RDRSSP), below are the approved requirements for applications at the “bare minimum” and “advanced” levels.

Bare Minimum Requirements

Must meet at least Moderate Evidence for the overall sample and for relevant grades kindergarten through second in all the following Evidence Statements within the RDRSSP Rubric:

• 2.d.i. Reliability
• 2.d.i. Content Validity
• 2.d.ii. Criterion Validity
• 2.d.iii. Criterion Validity

Advanced Requirements

Must meet at least Moderate Evidence in all Evidence Statements within the RDRSSP Rubric except for:

• 3.e.ii.
• 3.e.iii. (for only paper-based instruments)
• 3.f.i.
• 3.f.ii.
