Certifications and Assurances

General Assurances & Certifications

Required as a condition of receiving funds. Applicants do not need to sign and return them with the application; they must be downloaded and kept on file for compliance reviews, complaint investigations, or audits. Applicants that participate in the Consolidated Application - ConApp - should have a copy on file and do not need another copy. Program-specific assurances are not included here and should be listed separately on the Request for Application (RFA).
Drug-Free Workplace, CDE-100f Any entity, whether an agency or an individual, must complete, sign, and return this certification with its grant application to the CDE.
Lobbying, ED 80-0013 Certification regarding lobbying for federal grants in excess of $100,000.
Debarment and Suspension, ED 80-0014 Certification regarding debarment, suspension, ineligibility and voluntary exclusion--lower tier covered transactions.
