Updated Sample FSMC RFP and Contract in CNIPS


The California Department of Education (CDE) released an updated sample Food Service Management Company (FSMC) Request for Proposals (RFP) and Model Fixed-price Contract. The documents are available in the Child Nutrition Information and Payment System (CNIPS) in the Download Forms section, Form ID PRU-07 Sample RFP FSMC Contract. The significant updates include the following:

  • Certificate of Compliance for Buy American and California Agricultural Preference Requirements as attachment K in the RFP to assist in documenting adherence to these updated requirements.

  • Included updated Buy American and California Agricultural Preference Requirements language in the RFP and contract.

  • Updated regulations for School Food Authority and FSMC responsibilities in the RFP and contract.
