Updated Sample FSMC RFP and Contract in CNIPS

The California Department of Education (CDE) released an updated sample Food Service Management Company (FSMC) Request for Proposals (RFP) and Model Fixed-price Contract. The documents are available in the Child Nutrition Information and Payment System (CNIPS) in the Download Forms section, Form ID PRU-07 Sample RFP FSMC Contract. The significant updates include the following:

Certificate of Compliance for Buy American and California Agricultural Preference Requirements as attachment K in the RFP to assist in documenting adherence to these updated requirements.
Included updated Buy American and California Agricultural Preference Requirements language in the RFP and contract.
Updated regulations for School Food Authority and FSMC responsibilities in the RFP and contract.
