Effective July 1, 2013, Assembly Bill 86 (Chaptered 48, Statutes of 2013) authorized the transfer of the administration of the
Charter School Facility Grant Program and the Charter School Revolving Loan Fund from the California Department of Education
to the California State Treasurer's Office-California School Finance Authority

- Charter School Facility Grant Program
The Charter School Facility Grant Program provided assistance with facilities rent and lease expenditures for charter schools that meet specific eligibility criteria. - Charter School Revolving Loan Fund
The Charter School Revolving Loan Fund provided low-interest loans of up to $250,000 to new charter schools to help meet purposes established in schools' charters.
