CALPADS Regional Update Meetings

Updates via webinar for local educational agencies (LEAs) regarding the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS).

The California Department of Education conducts a series of meetings via webinar for local educational agencies (LEAs) regarding the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS).

Purpose of the Meetings

These two-hour webinars provide timely updates and relevant information for each of the CALPADS data submissions as well as changes for the upcoming school year.

Meeting Focus:

  • September: Fall 1 and Fall 2
  • March: End of Year (EOY)
  • May: Changes for the Upcoming School Year

4 Sessions Offered per Meeting – A Session Offered for Each Region

There will be 4 (four) sessions offered per meeting: One session offered for each region (Northern, Central, Southern A, and Southern B regions). Each session will cover the same content.

2025–26 Academic Year

Webinars will occur in September, March, and May. Counties are distributed among four CALPADS Regions: Northern, Central Valley, Southern A, and Southern B.

2025–26 Regional Update Meeting Schedule

September 2025 (1st Meeting)

Focus: Fall 1 and Fall 2 – September 9–10, 2025 (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Dates and times for each region, along with registration links.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided at the September 10th 9:30 a.m. meeting.

March 2026 (2nd Meeting)

Focus: End of Year (EOY) – March 3–4, 2026 (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Dates and times for each region, along with registration links.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided at the March 4th 9:30 a.m. meeting.

Local educational agencies (LEAs) are encouraged to register for the session scheduled for the region in which their county falls; however, LEAs may register for any of these sessions if one time works better than another.

May 2026 (3rd Meeting)

Focus: Changes for the Upcoming School Year – May 5–6, 2026 (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Dates and times for each region, along with registration links.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided at the May 6th 9:30 a.m. meeting.

Local educational agencies (LEAs) are encouraged to register for the session scheduled for the region in which their county falls; however, LEAs may register for any of these sessions if one time works better than another.
