Chicano Latino Youth Leadership Program (CLYLP)
One-time funding to provide funding for the expansion of the CLYLP to the Inland Valley.
Parents, Educators/Teachers & Students in Action (PESA)
One-time funding for truancy and absenteeism prevention programming. Specifically, the PESA will expand their school social workers and youth leaders program throughout Los Angeles County with a concentration in Senate District 24. This funding will also allow PESA to put into effect a mobile office plan for delivery of its wrap around educational services in the community.
ShePower Leadership Academy
One-time funding for ShePower Leadership Academy to support, educate and mentor young people with a current business or a budding entrepreneurial idea to advance their business, entrepreneurial work, and/or workforce development growth.
Step Out Lead Everyday (SOLE) Effects Program
One-time funding to support youth programming. Legislative intent is to support and expand three SOLE Effects programs in San Diego County.
Silicon Valley Education (SVE) Foundation
One-time funding to the SVE Foundation for youth programming. Specifically, to launch the Eastside Education Initiative to promote a culture of college and career readiness.
Teachers Rooted in Oakland (TRiO) Program
One-time funding to provide subsidized housing for STEM and Special Education teacher residents and income stipends for teachers who have graduated from their residency year but have committed to continue teaching in Oakland Unified School District for four years.
