Summer Meal Operators: Limited Supply of Banners

Announcement regarding limited summer meal site banner supply with alternative media resources provided.

The California Department of Education has received requests for English Summer Meals Site banners beyond our supply. English banners are no longer available. Alternatively, we are providing an English banner graphic for program operator to use this summer. The graphic was attached to the Listserv for immediate access. Program operators can use this graphic to print banners for use at their summer meal sites.

Additionally, there is a limited supply of Spanish banners available. If your agency is in need of Spanish banners, please complete the banner request form found in the Child Nutrition Information and Payment System Download Forms section using the following Form IDs:

  • Seamless Summer Option (SSO): Form ID SSO 10
  • Summer Food Service Programs (SFSP): Form ID SFSP 33

No Kid Hungry has a media toolkit available on their Summer Meals Outreach Toolkit web page External link opens in new window or tab.. The toolkit includes flyers, yard signs, and other communication resources that you can download and print. Instructions for editing are included at the link provided.
