2025–26 FFVP Grant Recipient Announcement

Thank you to all applicants who applied for the 2025–26 Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) grant. The California Department of Education (CDE) received 719 total FFVP applications.

Awarded

The 2025–26 FFVP grant recipient listing is now posted to the CDE Funding Results: FFVP web page. The FFVP is awarded in two separate funding allocations. The grant award listed reflects only the first allocation of the grant (July 1–September 30, 2025) and a second allocation amount will be provided to grantees in the fall. The allocation amounts are based on the school site enrollment provided on the FFVP application.

The CDE awarded grants to 495 elementary school sites, representing 104 program operators. Applicants were ranked by the number of students eligible for free and reduced-price (F/RP) meals; the CDE awarded funding to schools at or above 88.14 percent F/RP eligibility.

Next Steps

Awarded agencies will receive direct email communication from the CDE FFVP Team regarding next steps.

Future Grantees

The FFVP grants are awarded on an annual basis. Agencies interested in applying for the 2026–27 FFVP grant can learn more about the program and how to apply on the CDE’s FFVP web page.
