Next Steps: 2025–26 FFVP Grant Recipients

Congratulations! Your application for the 2025–26 Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) grant is being funded. The 2025–26 FFVP grant year is from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Grantees will receive a minimum total award of $50 per student. Recipients and award amounts are posted on the California Department of Education (CDE) Funding Results FFVP web page. The grant award listed reflects only the first allocation of the grant, which is from July 1–September 30, 2025, and is based on the school site enrollment provided on the FFVP application.

Please Note:This award is federally funded and is made contingent upon the availability of funds. If the funding upon which this award is based is reduced, deferred, or terminated, the CDE Nutrition Services Division will amend the awards accordingly.

Next Steps

The official Grant Award Notification (GAN) will be emailed from Adobe Sign to the Superintendent or highest ranking official as listed in the CDE California School Directory web page. If they are not the proper signature authority, there are two options to reassign the proper signature authority:

  1. The Superintendent or highest-ranking official can delegate the act of electronically signing to someone else. After opening the Adobe Sign document, select the “Alternative Actions” drop-down menu in the upper left corner.

Please Note: Forwarding the GAN award email to another party will restrict their signature and they will not be able to sign.

  2. Reply to this email with the name, title, and email address of the replacement, and the CDE can change the signature authority in Adobe Sign and resend the GAN.

The GAN and Supplemental Agreement must be signed electronically via the Adobe Sign award email and submitted within 10 business days of receipt. Food service contacts will be cc’d on the GAN email but are not authorized signatories. A copy of the final, signed GAN and Supplemental Agreement will be automatically emailed to all parties upon completion. Please add adobesign@adobesign.com to your address book or safe list.

FFVP grantees must also complete their School Nutrition Programs (SNP) Annual Update in the Child Nutrition Information and Payment System (CNIPS).

Important Notes

FFVP claims will not be processed and approved until these required GAN documents are e-signed via Adobe Sign and received by the CDE and your SNP annual update in CNIPS has been completed and approved by your SNP analyst.
