The following is a meeting schedule for the Advisory Commission on Special Education.

2025 Meeting Dates

  • August 20–21, 2025
  • October 15–16, 2025

2026 Meeting Dates

  • February 18–19, 2026
  • April 15–16, 2026
  • June 10–11, 2026
  • August 19–20, 2026
  • October 14–15, 2026

All meetings are held in Sacramento at the California Department of Education, 1430 N Street, Room 1101, unless otherwise noted. Check the meeting agenda to verify locations, dates, and times.

To ensure that the Commission meets the auxiliary aids and service requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Title 2 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 - 28 Code of Federal Regulations 35.160(B)(2), request for accommodation should be made to the Commission ten (10) days in advance of the scheduled meeting date. Wheelchair access is provided at all meetings.

The Commission encourages clear communication and requests that individuals avoid the use of acronyms.
