Distribution of funding to the Marin County Superintendent of Schools in support of the activities and responsibilities of the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence.

Support LEAs Achieve Local Control and Accountability Plan Goals

The California Collaborative for Educational Excellence was established in 2013 by California Education Code (EC) Section 52074 to provide advice and assistance to school districts, county offices of education, and charter schools in achieving the goals set forth in their Local Control Accountability Plan. Funding is appropriated each year in the Budget Act in support of CCEE’s activities and responsibilities.

Support LEAs for In-Person Instruction and Expanded Learning Opportunities

Additional funding has been made available to the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence in Section 8 of Assembly Bill 86 (Chapter 10, Statutes of 2021) for the purpose of providing support to local educational agencies (LEAs) for the In-Person Instruction Grants and Expanded Learning Opportunities Grants established by California EC Section 43521.

Support Expansion of Community Engagement Initiative

Funding has been made available to the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence in EC Section 52073.3(k) added by Section 87 of Assembly Bill 181 (Chapter 52, Statutes of 2022) to support the CCEE to expand and strengthen the Community Engagement Initiative pursuant to EC Section 52073.3(b).
