Cautionary Note: An LEA’s in-person instruction (IPI) apportionment, and retention of funding, is contingent on meeting the criteria for in-person instruction pursuant to Section 2 of AB 86. One of those conditions is to offer in-person instruction pursuant to EC Section 43521(c)(3) by May 15, 2021. An LEA is advised not to budget for IPI funding if it does not plan to offer in-person instruction by that deadline.
