California Partnership Academies (CPA) Planning Grant

California Partnership Academies (CPA) Planning Grants is funded at $180,000; twelve planning grants ($15,000 per Academy) from Proposition 98-Career Technical Education Initiative is included in the 2022-23 State Budget. CPAs are effective school/district/business partnerships, providing integrated academic and career technical instruction to ten-through-twelfth-grade high school students who are at risk of dropping out of school or are not motivated by traditional curricula. The CPA school-within-a-school model focuses on student achievement, attendance, and program accountability.

Required as a condition of receiving funds. Applicants do not need to sign and return them with the application; they must be downloaded and kept on file for compliance reviews, complaint investigations, or audits. Applicants that participate in the Consolidated Application - ConApp - should have a copy on file and do not need another copy. Program-specific assurances are not included here and should be listed separately on the Request for Application (RFA).
