Rural Non-congregate Meal Service Option Webinar


The California Department of Education will host a Summer Meals Rural Non-congregate Meal Service Option webinar on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm. During this webinar, we will provide an overview of the rural non-congregate meal service in the Summer Meals Programs (SMP) and share resources for program operators who wish to operate this meal service option this summer.

All SMP operators who are interested in the rural non-congregate meal service option are encouraged to attend.

After registering, you will see a screen that says Webinar Registration Approved with a link to the webinar. You will also receive several emails with information about joining the webinar. First, you will receive confirmation the day you register and then you will receive two reminder emails: one day and one hour prior to the webinar. If you cannot find the email confirmation, or do not receive the reminders, you can always reregister.
