First Principal Apportionment (P-1)

Principal Apportionment Summary (XLSX)
Reflects an LEA’s total state aid for all programs included in the Principal Apportionment, including prior year adjustments. This forms the basis for determining an LEA’s monthly payments.

Detail by LEA, fiscal year, and program of the adjustments and prior year recomputations reflected on Line A-17 of the Principal Apportionment Summary.

Payment Schedule Summary - LEA Detail (XLSX)
Provides an LEA’s monthly Principal Apportionment payment for the months of February through May. Each LEA’s monthly payment is determined based on a statutory formula, by fund type, calculated as a percentage of the LEA’s total P-1 Principal Apportionment amount, net of advance payments. Adjusted P-1 Payments for Charter Schools Participating in the 2019–20 Special Advance (XLSX)
Provides adjusted payments for charter schools participating in the 2019–20 Special Advance. An error was identified in the 2019–20 P-1 Apportionment that caused all charter schools participating in the special advance apportionments for new and expanding charter schools to be overpaid. This summary provides information for affected charters on adjusted payments for the months of March through May.
