    Funds are allocated on a per-pupil basis using each eligible local education agency’s 2023–24 enrollment data for kindergarten and grades 1 and 2, as reported in the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System Fall 1 Certification. The per-pupil rate is approximately $21.17 ($21. 16855504).

  4. When can Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) expect to receive the Literacy Screenings Professional Development funds?

    The California Department of Education (CDE) released an apportionment of funds reflecting 100 percent of the allocation for each LEA in January 2025.
