Title V, RLIS

Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Title V, Part B, Rural and Low-Income Schools (RLIS) federal program for rural education agencies with 20 percent or more of the pupils from families below the poverty line.

Funding

Note: Effective 2017–18, the ESEA, as reauthorized by the Every Student Succeeds Act, authorizes RLIS under Title V, part B (formerly Title VI, Part B under the No Child Left Behind Act).
