2018–19 CALPADS County-Level Certification Report
CALPADS training is offered through California School Information Services (CSIS). Various training sessions are available, including a course that offers a general overview of CALPADS and its features. Other training sessions cover topics such as anomalies, reporting and certification, and SSID enrollment and maintenance. Additionally, specialized workshops relevant to CALPADS are offered occasionally and are communicated to CALPADS users and administrators.
New Website, New Look and Feel
In January 2019, CSIS launched a new website and new training environment intended to improve access to resources. The CALPADS course catalog and training registration has moved to a new Learning Management System (LMS) called Bridge. CALPADS LEA Administrators will have access to the Bridge platform, which provides an opportunity to address the unique and varied experiences of learners through progressive information disclosure, posting information appropriate for data submission, as well as meeting the learning needs of experienced and new users. Users who do not have a Bridge account have access to learning materials via CSIS - Resources For Everyone .
Users who wish to access CALPADS training can find it via the CSIS web site. CALPADS LEA Administrators and other users should visit CALPADS Learning Opportunities to get started. CALPADS LEA Administrators may access the LMS here. Additionally, the "Fast & Free Resources for Everyone" section links users to videos and other publicly available documents.
Visit CSIS - Resources For Everyone , and visit the CALPADS Resources , which house a number of useful documents and presentations regarding CALPADS training, data privacy, and a wealth of information relevant to CALPADS.
