Webinar: Tuesdays at 2 School Nutrition Town Hall

On July 27, 2021 at 2 p.m. the Nutrition Services Division (NSD) continues the discussion, policy guidance, and sharing of best practices for operating School Nutrition Programs (SNP) as local educational agencies navigate multiple nationwide waivers and persevere with planning quality services for the upcoming school year.

Join us for Tuesday @ 2 Virtual Town Hall events on the fourth Tuesday of the month to provide an opportunity for schools to learn about requirements for operating their programs.

The Tuesday @ 2 School Nutrition Town Hall webinar will include SNP directors who will discuss their food service operations and how they are serving meals during COVID-19, addressing program requirements, and promoting program participation.

Panelists will include:

  • Diana Flores, Director Nutrition Services Department Sacramento City Unified School District (enrollment 43,543)
  • Jennifer LeBarre, Executive Director Student Nutrition Services San Francisco Unified School District (enrollment 55,128).

Target Audience

The target audience includes all state and local school nutrition professionals, superintendents, school business officials, and community partners involved in school meal service.

After registering, you will see a screen that says Webinar Registration Approved with a link to the webinar. You will also receive several emails with the information about joining the webinar. First, you will receive confirmation the day you register and then you will receive two reminder emails: one day and one hour prior to the webinar. If for some reason you cannot find the email confirmation or do not receive the reminders you can always reregister.
