On January 26, 2021 at 2 p.m., the Nutrition Services Division (NSD) continues the discussion, policy guidance, and sharing of best practices for operating School Nutrition Programs (SNP) as local educational agencies persevere with offering quality services in the School Year 2020–21.
Join us for Tuesday @ 2 virtual town hall events on the fourth Tuesday of the month to provide an opportunity for schools to learn about program requirements for operating their programs.
The Tuesday @ 2 School Nutrition Town Hall webinar will include SNP directors who will discuss their food service operations and how they are serving meals during COVID-19, addressing program requirements, and promoting program participation.
Panelists will include:
- Christina Lawson, Director of Food and Nutrition Services, Western Placer Unified School District (USD) (enrollment 7,313)
- Sandy Huynh, Director of Student Nutrition Services and Warehouse, Milpitas USD (enrollment 10,474)
- Jamie Phillips, Director of Nutrition Services, Vista USD (enrollment 20,088)
Target Audience
The target audience includes all state and local school nutrition professionals, superintendents, school business officials, and community partners involved in school meal service.
